Why choose Cutting Edge for your landscape project?

We'll make it look great today and for the future.

Cutting Edge is owned and operated by a horticulturalist. We approach all of our projects with a clear understanding of how specific plants behave (where they grow best, how much space they require, etc.).

We'll create a seamless look by doing both your softscape and hardscape design.

Hardscape refers to the built environment of the landscape design. Experienced in stone work (sidewalks, patio and retaining walls), we ensure your softscape design and hardscape design complement one another. Learn more about our approach to hardscaping.

We'll manage and source the entire project.

With more than a decade of experience working in Guelph, we have built relationships with local tradespeople to manage the technical aspects of a project including electrical and irrigation solutions. We work hard to ensure projects are delivered on time and in budget.

What is softscaping?

Softscaping refers to the horticultural elements including garden design, plantings, trees, shrubs, flower beds and any features that might be added such as rockery or lighting options.

Do I need to have a large project for you to consider my work?

Absolutely not, we do projects of all sizes. At Cutting Edge, we'll work with you to ensure the project is suitable for the space and withing budget. We're also happy to make recommendations based on our decade of experience and answer any questions you may have.

Should I focus on the front yard or backyard first?

A number of our customers decide to work in phases. We recommend starting in the with the areas you spend the most time.
